A singular shooting affair near Cradley Station in 1889

SHOOTING OUTRAGE - A singular shooting affair occurred on the Great Western Railway, near Cradley Station, on Sunday night, the circumstances of which became known only yesterday. A passenger train was coming towards Cradley, when some one close to the embankment fired at the engine driver and stoker. The latter was shot in the cheek, but the bulk of the shot was caught on the weather board of the engine. The guard heard the report, but no one was seen.A singular shooting affair near Cradley Station in 1889
